Making the climate more favorable to your race's tolerance level will allow you to farm the soil. Some races cannot tolerate certain climate conditions and will die if adjustments aren't made quickly. There are situations where mother nature will win and you will have to build more than just 1 terraformer to meet your needs.

• Each Terra Former can change the climate of a planet by 1 point per turn.
• Uses 1 fuel + 1 MC + 1 Supply Unit per turn per terraformer when terraforming. It will only use as much of these resources as is needed to adjust the climate to the desired level. When the climate of the planet is at the terraformer`s target level, nothing is used.
• You can adjust the terraformer setting to the climate that you desire. Target level = Normally you should set the favorite climate of your race, for the The Cyborg Collective as an example it's 65. In a situation where you are sharing a planet with an ally, you may want to find a mutually beneficial climate to set the terraformer to.
• They add 100 "hit points" each to a ground base, which will help keep it from being destroyed.

• The Solorian Unity cannot use a terraformer, even if captured.
