Super Lasers owned by The United Enforcement Authority will not destroy a target ship, it will remove all shields and armor. But it will destroy planets. <- If this is the case, I'd consider this a bug. Jochen 11:00, 28 May 2006 (CEST)
CMer - UEA Super Lasers CAN destroy planets. Whether this is correct or not I'm not sure, but it is possible. CMer 1:43 1 June 2006

i reviewed my vcrs for the super laser heres the facts.

vcr 1 (5001 phases) it fired at phase 330 and 1350 ship left combat at phase 1700

vcr 2 (5001 phases) it fired at 330 and 1370 ship eft combat at phase 2100

VCR 3 (5001 phases) it fired at phase 330 and 1350 ship left combat at phase 1700

VCR 4 ( 300 phases) ship never entered combat

ship settings ********** Combat : normal Delay ship: active Fire at ground targets: active Super laser: active Kill target: planet below (not base) no other active settings
