Talk:Ship Nav Mode

- What the difference between escort and follow?
Escort : this ship Will escort (not follow) the target until either overridden, cleared manually, escort target is destroyed or priority intervenes.
Or between intercept and escort ? Is it only the different priority to intervening auto-intercept?

you can perform a follow function by matching speed of the target using intercept but remaining some distance away. escort is side by side function always at the same x,y (or at least its supposed to be)
- Feature Meet Nav mode
I would like to see a nav mode for meeting a moving object than move on to the next waypoint (or intercept or escort). Or is that possible to accomplish right now? (Ship 1 is used to deliver new ords to ship 2 which is intercepting ship 3 (enemy for example). If I know how ship 2 will move than of cause I can calculate the meeting point, but that's user unfriendly anyways).
