Talk:Resource Points

The Resource Report is often misleading nearly every time, as he is 1 turn "back". Maybe that should be more pointed out.
Example, In an running (lost game for me) the Resource Report tell me, I am using 91 Resource Points, and 77 of them should be used from Pods. But looking at the Pod Command screen, there are actually counted only 32 Pods, as I have destroyed many of them last turn. And my used Resources are so only 46 at the moment.

Even better, the report should be uptodate.... Jochen 15:11, 16 December 2007 (CET)

The report is made when your share of resource points are determined. So for the rest of the turn process, you are limited by what is in that report. I could add a report at the end of the turn, but it would be the same as the one that you receive at the beginning of the next turn. I guess that may be nice to see regardless. Resource points are adjusted up and down depending on your actions, but the "limit" isn't. --Magik 16:42, 16 December 2007 (CET)

I know that. I would only ask for a bigger/better description for it on the recurse points page.
Maybe something like, "Important: The Resource Report in the Messages is misleading, as he is generated at the beginning of the turn and not count the changes in the turn which may happen like build new build ships/lay new minefields/launched-destroyed-landed Pods etc.".
I'm not sure if the above text is good or not. Maybe an other write the above text or a better one at the right place in the Resource Point page.
