How to compute the Repair rate from race stats ?

Currently playing the Crystals. Lot's of ships have been caught in my web mines and suffered heavy engine damage. All of them have repaired themself up to 100% of engine damage at the end of the turn, if repair was sufficient. Guess, the repair rates given here are only good for Hyp-engines. How much engine damage did they have ?
With your X field they should have repair for long.

UA Watchman Class Scout did hit my Web minefield and got 105% engine damage. That is, what the Web Mine Hit Report did say. When I checked the ship it did show only 5% engine damage. Much the same happend to a Vltava this turn: Received 41% engine damage from moving through a Web minefield and has no engine damage, because the ship has still enough repair on board.
So all you can do as a Crystal player is: Bring in enough X-field ships to remove all their repair before you think about to let explode your Web Minefields in order to autocapture those ships.
Host order: Web explosion (=engine damage) - Repair engines - Steal Repair with the X-field.

After searching at Tim site, their is no limit on the engine repair rate, with is a good thing since the crystal can capture ship with high engine damage. Look at the main article.
