[edit] Print Map

Use Diplomat

One of the sub bits of this is a program which runs in native DOS called "map2ps.exe" which converts .map files to postscript ones.

It can also add grid lines and stuff with various switches.

Diplomat adds a Windoze front end to this. See Diplomat's "Tools - Print Map" menu option. (Aha, I see the Diplomat install prog has put map2ps.exe in the /Pkanets4 directory, it should be moved to the planets4/data directory.) If you prefer to use command line switches, these are displayed in the Diplomat screen when you push the "create postscript file" button eg

C:Planets4datamap2ps -a4 -l -p7 -g100 dataecho

The resulting postscript (.ps) file can be converted to a .pdf file if you prefer ('cos not many printers can devour raw postscript these days, though your plotter probably can) using the website www.ps2pdf.com
