Is it useful to mount any weapons on this?

It thinking of cheap stuff: Disrupter Cannons, Pulsed lasers, 35mm Vulcan or Concussion Rockets as PD.

Under Useful Configurations, the ship can only mount 4 LWs, but 12 SWs. As the ship have only 300 Ord and the Organic Armor is immune to small weapon fire, I do not understand the PD usage (maybe only it is cheap). You must stop LWs with a great Kill Power and Fighters and for this the PD configuration looks me not so good. I would prefer some MSCs and Turbo Laser as PD, that costs more but seems me more effective.
You can use the ship as armed Quick Transporter with the 1 Pod Bay and the 1200 Cargo or as Scout to penetrate Enemy areas and may attack undefended Bases, Pods and Freighters and maybe small single Escorts of the above. But then you should look always to the Fuel, Ord and Rep-Units. Maybe dock a Pod with some of them to the ship. JoSch 14:53, 28 December 2007 (CET)

Well, Flakes are cheap anti fighter PD as well, and LW/SW are not ord based. turbo lasers are better, admitted, but the hull costs less than 4 TLs. Is that really a good investment, then? --Yid 15:08, 28 December 2007 (CET)

The only which speaks for Flake are that they cheap, but they sucks IMHO if you must intercept LW fire. So it depends on your money you have, the role it should play and the enemy and what you do expect from him (Fighters or ships). The hull costs are 400 for the ship and so not the cheapest in game. That's only my opinion.
