Talk:Mine Sweeper Array
From PlanetsWiki
[edit] Host 212e
Funny. If you look at the Host Order on the PlanetsWiki, there are a few situations where score is determined for all units and then actions are taken in score order from highest score to lowest. Well, in some situations, it's better to go last, so those units with higher skill / resulting score would want to go last. That happens to be the situation with minelaying and minesweeping. If a minelayer went last then his minefield wouldn't be affected by any minesweepers because they already had their chance to sweep. If a sweeper went last, then he would have the chance to affect any minefields laid by less experienced minelayers. Prior to this change, the more experienced minesweeper went first, which was bad because none of the inexperienced minelayers had done their thing yet. So it happens in reverse score order for minelaying and minesweeping so that the ship happiness, experience, skill and high guard actually mean something and will be put to good use.
This has nothing to do with detonations.
