I think that this is a good topic. In general, I think that the Wiki should try not to duplicate the rules on several pages so that when a rule does change, it only needs to be updated in few or one location. Pointing out specifics for each race or each base structure here would defeat that consolidation of facts. --Magik 09:23, 30 March 2006 (CEST)
I agree with your princple of not duplicating information. But I think in this instance, since this is a common basic question (I know I wanted to know the answers!), it is good to call that information out.
Another possibility would be to re-structure each Race's stat page to have a specific section regarding megacredits and then link to that section. That could require significant changes to a lot of the race stat pages as those MC related tips are not always organized together.
Which would people prefer?

I think a link to the (MC) section of the specific race is better idea (instead of putting new specific race info here).

An MC portion on the applicable race's page is probably best way to do it. If there is a change and something is missed then the Wiki will quickly become outdated information in the public's eyes. --Magik 17:01, 30 March 2006 (CEST)
OK. Because we are only refering to rules, the section should go into the stats pages (as opposed to the guides). I'll start working on these tweaks over the next few days. --Vilous 17:57, 30 March 2006 (CEST)
