Perhaps we could write something about the "multiple jumps" at least here in the discussion area. Jochen 22:17, 15 February 2006 (CET)

It is probably no more possible than to the Fix in host 196, but not tested yet.

[edit] Moving after jumppoint

With Host 211 the following is only possible for Centaurs:

This is a detailled checklist that describes how you can have ships move, jump with the Jumppoint Generator ship (Pax) and then move again after the jump. (taken from a posting of GFM GToeroe at Drewheads):

  1. Set Pax for a jump point jump to WP1
  2. Set Pax to zero speed
  3. Give Pax the CC JOE
  4. Give all other ship which shall follow the PAX an escort order with the PAX as escort target
  5. Let the Pax been towed by a ship with a certain speed v
  6. Give this ship also the WP1 of the PAX and a WP2 where you want the PAX been towed to after the jump
  7. Give all the other ships as first WP the WP1 of the PAX and then their own WPs where you want to go them to after the jump
  8. Give all escorting ship the CC WPF
  9. Give all the other escorting ship also the speed v of the ship which tows the PAX
  10. Have in mind the the fleet can travel at max v/2 before the jump and v/2 after the jump.
  11. Have in mind to give all moving ships the same speed
  12. Have in mind to set all first WPs to the same WP1 of the PAX as otherwise due to the ignoring of the escort orders via the CC "WPF" the fleet ship want follow the PAX and so they would be left behind.
  13. Have in mind the the first part of the movement can lead out of a GMF protected area. So no need to disable certain GMFs.
  14. Have in mind that your ships travel after the jump. So they are in danger to run into MFs in the destination area.
