Talk:Hyperdimensional Stress

At least there is nothing automatically exciting what happens to a lonely planet if the HD falls below -1000 or even -3000.

The only thing I know for sure is that a SWA changes the way it reacts with the HD/delta when HD<-1000.

It seems that a single active SWA cause 80-100 of positive HD change plus a constant +12 in delta.

This is different from what one can find in the WIKI.

Q: How exactly SWA and SWD are processed in the host order?

One ship is processed at a time; regardless of the devices on it. In the host order, devices are not all processed in groups of devices. So you'll need to control which affect the planet by turning on/off devices that you don't want tripping over each other if they conflict. So you need to evaluate what we happen one ship at a time.

Q: Another point is which is exactly the formula to generate minerals?

As for the new minerals equation, there is probably confusion because of the host order. The planet HD Stress is adjusted by the delta before new minerals are made, so you can't look at your current turn and use those values to calculate what they will be. You must use the upcoming values instead. The calculation process below is required for accurate results:

1. Adjust HD Stress by HD Delta value.
2. Continue if HD Stress and HD Delta are greater than 0.
3. r = ((HD Stress / 100) * (HDStress / 100)) * (HD Delta) / 2
4. If r > 25000 then limit it to 25000
5. If r > 1 then new minerals are:

Duranium: r x 1.1
Tritanium: r x .8
Molybenum: r x .5
Neutronium: r x 1.5

6. Limit of minerals in a planet to 1 billion.
