Unmentioned ships: Can't agree with striking the Orville Class Scout and the DR-14 Security Vessel from the list of useful ships. The Orville is dirt cheap and your empire's ears and eyes. The low sig of the DR-14 + pod bays are useful for small raidings in the early game.
