  • Better than or equal to the SDSF in every way. Cheaper, holds more colonists, and has a better scan range. If you need a dirt-cheap ship to haul money or hull plans, this may be what you're looking for. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a pod bay.
  • You can use masses of them as defense (at least support) against fighters, as each one can hold 1 Point Defense.
