[edit] Overview

  • The Singularity Class Dreadnaught has only low Armor (800) and a low mass (1000) compared with other dreadnoughts.
  • The Minefield Destabilizer is fun, as it can destroy a minefield per turn within 150LY range. Unfortunately you cannot aim with this, so you will probably need a couple of these to clear a large area of minefields efficently. Take care, that if there are no enemy minefields in range the Minefield Destablizier will destroy your own minefields if turned on.

This ship is idealy suited to long range combat and ordered to stay at a standoff range of 900+ With the high attack bonus of the ship (75) and the 20 weapon mounts most shots will penetrate the enemy point defence to hit the ship. Hopefully the long range will also allow the ship to survive. THe IGAs ignore the first 3,000 armor and quickly disable the enemy ship.
