The show lounge creates money from crew (maxed out with 10 000 crew members) and colonists in bases below. The Show Lounge is not player-specific, so that the effects will be reduced if there is a Show Lounge device on a ship of a different player within the same area.

  • Generates 1 mc per 10 crew on the ship with a maximum gain of 1000 mc when 10 000 crew are onboard.
  • Generates 100 mc per 1 million colonists in bases within 5 ly of the ship.
  • To function at maximum capacity the ship must be within 5 ly of a base with a minimum of 1 million colonists. If it is over a base with fewer colonists it will generate a maximum of 50 mc a turn.
  • No more than one Show Lounge device should be active within 15 LY of one another. If more than one such device is active the maximum revenue generated a turn is 250 mc (for all ships with said devices) and the 250 mc is divided evenly between each ship.
  • Maximum Income Per Turn: 6,000 mc (with 10 000 crew onboard and 50 million in bases below ship)
  • The device will increase the Happiness of the colonists on bases under the ship by 3 points and generate 2 points of crime on that bases.

  • The combined effect of several Gambling and Show Lounge devices is perhaps very strong - ten ships seemed (at least in one case) to generate ten times of the expected crime (Host 210).
