Ship Command - Fleet

In this tab of the Ship Command let's you set the ship's fleet orders.

All ships set as Fleet Member and set to share fuel, ordnance or repair units will automatically exchange those when being at the same point. (No need to be in a group or fleet).

Since Host 213 fleets can also have an affect in Space Combat. Details can be found in the Battle Manual.

Fleet Command Screen until Client 66.4

A ship set as Fleet Leader and all ships escorting it constitutes a fleet. You can give orders to all ships in a fleet using the Fleet Command window. Group is more flexible than Fleet Command and provides more capabilities, you should always use group when commanding fleets, groups do not require escort.

Since Client 66.5 is the old Fleet command Screen replaced by a new one.

Minimum Ordinance Slider - when fleet member is enabled this is the desired level of ordinance that is desired to remain on the ship. this ship and others (ships with fleet member switches set to on and in within 3 lyr range) will attempt to maintain this level for this vessel. If your fleet has not enough Ord to reach the minimum levels and it ends the turn over an own Base it Beam up the needed Ord. It works only at the end of the turn and BDO/BUO Command Code works afterwards. (Host 213.41)

Minimum Fuel Slider - when fleet member is enabled this is the desired level of Fuel that is desired to remain on the ship. this ship and others (ships with fleet member switches set to on and in within 3 lyr range) will attempt to maintain this level for this vessel. If your fleet has not enough fuel to reach the minimum levels and it ends the turn over an own Base it Beam up the needed fuel. Fleet Member - this is for setting up fleets in the fleet command menu ,it also enables the sharing of materials, for sharing of materials you do not have to make a group (must be within 3 lyr range for sharing). you do not have to be nearby for fleets, fleets can be split up across the map

Repair Unit Sharing - tells this ship to share its repair units with any ships having Fleet member or Fleet leader set to on(must be within 3 lyr range).

Ordinance Sharing - tells this ship to share its Ordinance with any ships having Fleet member or Fleet leader set to on(must be within 3 lyr range).

Fuel Sharing - tells this ship to share its Fuel with any ships having Fleet member or Fleet leader set to on (must be within 3 lyr range).

Fleet Leader - Denotes which ship in the fleet is the leader. however if you wish this ship to share its on board materials with others, you still must have the Fleet member switch turn on as well ( not thouroughly tested ).
