The Sagittarius is where the CoM flourish and grow. While on this ship population grows by .06 a turn (fastest growth in space of any CoM ships and only slightly slower than CoM growth in a base) (Comment: This is somewhat exaggerated. A CoM base can get up to 0.1 growth, much better than a Sagittarius).

In addition to being the breeding grounds for any CoM player looking to live in space the Saggittarius has a powerful tractor beam (5,000) and 6 POD bays. It is not a battleship (no large weapons and only 4 small and point defense) but can dock 1 wing of 100 fighters for defense.

Building new Sagittarius can be expensive (1,100 tritanium!) so be sure to protect your Sagittarius with fighters and other CoM ships and let the colonists grow!
