Those races that believe in happiness through relaxation of the body, mind and spirit may choose to dedicate a part of their planet to a place of serenity, where nature and beauty are accentuated. Having this "paradise" available to your people will make them happy and may attract space travelers from afar.
Each resort requires 10 food and 2 supplies to run. If you have more than one resort, then there is a diminishing return on the output from them since there really can't be more than one paradise. When there is more than one, then the efficiency of resorts ranges from 2 to 1 + the number of resorts. This is the effective number of resorts that is used in future calculations, including the cost to run the resorts. This effective number of resorts can be expressed as:
Active Resorts = 1.5 + Rnd * Resorts

Happiness of the ground base's colonists increases by 0 to 30 times the number of effective resorts. The happiness of the colonists increases before new colonists arrive. The calculation is expressed as:
Happiness Increase = 30 * Rnd * Active Resorts

[edit] Generation of Colonists
New colonists join the ground base (even when the Shokazul Pulse is active) if the colonists' happiness is greater than 30. Having a more populated and happy atmosphere is attractive. The number of new colonists takes into consideration the number of existing colonists and their happiness. For every million colonists, you can attract between 0 and 6,000 colonists if the existing colonist happiness is 300. If the happiness is 100, then the number of new colonists ranges from 0 to 2,000. The calculation is expressed as:

- The Scavenger Tribes can't build a Resort on their own. However if another race builds a resort and then GBAs to the Scavs, or if you script a base with a Resort, the Scavs can keep it.
