A list of the various stats and what they effect.

[edit] Min Farm Climate

  • Minimum climate at which Farms will produce.

[edit] Max Farm Climate

  • Maximum climate at which Farms will produce.

[edit] Favorite Climate

  • No effect. (someday growth and/or happiness bonus?)

[edit] Income

  • Percentage of "normal" income (130 = 130%)

[edit] Mining

  • Percentage of "normal" mining rate (70 = 70%)

[edit] Happiness

  • Not used at all.

[edit] Colonist to Crew

[edit] Crew to Troop

[edit] Troop to High Guard

[edit] Growth Rate

  • Relative growth rate. (120 = 6%, 100 = 5%).
  • See growth for details.

[edit] Dark Powers

  • Increases chance-to-join for Amphibians
  • Decreases chance-to-join for Bovinoids
  • Increases the chance for a trooper to become a high guard at a training center.
  • Increases the kill potential of troops and crew in ground combat.
  • Higher the dark power than your enemy in boarding combat will allow your high guard to strike first.

  • Increases Bovinoids chance-to-join
  • >80 causes a loss in Happiness for Liberal and Enslavement tax
  • >20 increases max. hyper drive repair rate to 60%/turn
  • Increases the chance for a trooper to become a high guard at a training center.
  • Protects against Spy Attacks to gather Ship Movements and Sabotage Ships.

  • Decreases Insectoids chance-to-join
  • >90 causes a loss in Happiness for Liberal and Enslavement taxes
  • <80 increases max weapon repair rate to 40%/turn
  • <40 increases max weapon repair rate to 60%/turn
  • >80 increases max life support repair rate to 40%/turn

  • Dictates amount of spy mana generated
  • Increases your chances to succeed with certain spy attacks
  • Increases Avians chance-to-join

[edit] Contraband Likes

  • Combination of all races in game determines contraband cost
  • Grecken Blood Wine <20 increases the max shield repair rate to 40%/turn

[edit] Public Relations

  • Increases Humanoids join-rate
  • Decreases Insectoids chance-to-join
  • >80 (combined with Law >80) increases max hull repair rate to 50%/turn

[edit] Law

  • >50 causes a loss in Happiness for Liberal tax
  • >60 causes a loss in Happiness for Enslavement tax
  • Decreases Insectoid chance-to-join
  • >80 (combined with PR >80) increases max hull repair rate to 50%/turn
