Races are hosted here for general entertainment. Centaurs love to race, and natives love to watch (and bet). It attracts natives and increases their happiness. It also generates a small monthly income of 15MC (more if certain natives are present). And gives a discount on the Hovercrafts used in the races.
- If there is at least 1 Racetrack, the Itsha Hovercraft production in Assault Plants is doubled.
- When there is no racetrack and there are at least 400k colonists, then there is a 20% chance that the colonists will build one of them. (Host 203)
- Each Racetrack increases gathering of Contraband by 5%.
- The first Racetrack increases the chance for Natives to join the base by 5%.
The second and third Racetrack increase it by an additional 1% each. - The first Racetrack increases happiness of the Natives by 5 Points.
The second and third Racetrack increase it by 1 Point each. - Each Racetrack generates 15 mc per turn.
- If there is at least 1 Racetrack, for every 100,000 Centaur colonists it generates the following amount of MCs for each native type that is present. (the MCs are independent of the volume of natives, you only need 1 of each):

The number of race tracks does not affect the income generated from natives.
It does affect the native happiness increase and the 15 mc (15 mc per racetrack). You can see that the quantity does affect other factors (native gathering, contraband, etc).
The Happiness increase due to RaceTracks allows to raise happiness above 300. AFAIR this happens before native migration via Public Spaceports.
