Not as versatile as the Star Destroyer, the RU25 Gunship still makes a good warship that can be mass-produced. If you get your hands on Amphibians and don't know where to put the mediocre free weapons - the Gunship could be your candidate. Just take care that it has only a crew size of 70 and only two point defense mounts - don't put expensive parts in it, rather build 2 for the price.
Another good thing about it is its high speed of 40ly (remember this is an Empire ship ;) combined with its resistance to minefields.

  • The H Ross Destroyer and RU25 Gunship are highly resistant to minefield damage. These ships only take around 10% normal damage for a ship of its size when hitting a mine.
  • It is subject to the special rules applying to ships of the Evil Empire.
