A very good Point Defense against fighters.
Better range against fighters than Turbo Lasers, especially w/ Anti-Fighter Computer active.
Almost double accuracy against fighters compared to Turbo Lasers.
Uses no ord.

Similiar to the Auto Blaster it has a +40% chance of shooting down incoming Large Weapons fire that is ord based.
