This all-purpouse ship belongs to the Defensive line of the Draconian fleet. It is a very good minelayer, transport and defensive ship. As most draconian ships it lacks of PD (just 5) but has 2 Fighter Bays , if you fill them with the excellent AD-11 Light Fighter you can concentrate on fire intercepting PDs.

The Pegasi is too weak to equip with expensive weapons like PPC or Gatlings, and has no attack bonus or enough LW slots to mount PTT. On the other hand it can be quite effective against other medium ships that are already damaged as a boarding ship carrying 2600 troops. But take note that without boarding laser you have a penalty in boarding any ship outside of a vcr - but the weapon layout helps in killing the Crew and Guests on enemy ships without destroying it. Tow a AD-22 Marauder if you want a boarding laser.

Besides it can load a wing of 40 AD-11 Light Fighters very effective as anti-fighter defense. Use always Quick Strike and Run for the AD-11.
