At Hull Tech 4, the Patriot Class is a versatile ship. It is the first carrier that can be built by The Rebels (the next one is the Tranquility Class Cruiser at Tech 7 (excluding the Castor Class Transport). Its two Pod Bays and its large cargo room of 10.000kts make it a good choice for all kind of transport missions. Furthermore it can mount 4 Large Weapons weighting up to 150kt, so it can also defend its freight quite well. The Agrodome ship device can also be used to augment food supplies for your population.
