Ministers

The Ministers are a portion of the Planets Client that help to alleviate micromanagement of your empire. The menu can be found under HQ from the toolbar and then press the Ministers button.
A Minister will normally affect all applicable objects of the appropriate type unless the Ministers functionality is turned off for that object. A small M button is located on the ship and base screens (apparently wings were overlooked) that will enable or disable the ability for Ministers to affect that object. Turning the M off (by changing it to a red X) will make it so that any Minister function will not apply its changes to that object. The status of the Minister button will be saved until changed. There is a Minister function to affect the status of the Minister button.
The current list of actions that can be performed on objects follows:

[edit] Sell Contraband On Low Crime Bases
This will set all bases with less than x crime to sell all contraband that they have. It does not observe the limit on the ability to sell a limited amount of contraband based on the number of colonists at the base. Thus, the sell order will not always be successful.

[edit] Buy X Contraband_Type with at least Y mc
Gives a buy order for X units of a contraband type in all bases that have at least Y mc.

[edit] Bases
[edit] Build maximum amount of Building_Type
This will set all bases with available funds and supplies to build as many buildings of that type as it can. Not sure what factors are considered)
[edit] Make sure all bases have at least X Building_Type
This action will set all bases with available funds and supplies to build up to X buildings of the selected type. Situations like building farms will check for climate, colonist population, and other bases on the same planet.
[edit] Change friendly code on all bases
This action will apply a new 3 character friendly code to all bases.
[edit] Set all bases as View ON
All bases are set to be considered when cycling through the bases.
[edit] Set all bases as View OFF (ignore)
All bases are set to be ignored when cycling through the bases.
[edit] Change military Stance to Military_Setting
Sets the military stance of all bases (Peaceful, Roaming Defense, etc.)

[edit] All ship scanners on high power

[edit] All ships with weapons attack
[edit] Change all ships friendly codes
[edit] All ships new attack vector
[edit] All ships cancel ground attacks

[edit] Launch pods of metal to ship yard bases

[edit] Launch pods of cargo_type to anvil (radius x)
Launch resources of a cargo type that are in excess of y kt on all bases that are within x light years of the anvil to the anvil.
