The Military Spaceport enables you to build build ships in a base using the Base Command - Ship screen or the Quick Build function.

- A Weapons Factory is required to build Ship Weapons.
- An Engine Plant is required to build Ship Engines, Generators, Shields and HyperDrives.
- You cannot build a ship without engines unless you use Quick Build and the base has both a Military Spaceport and an Engine Plant.
- Using the Base Command Code NOO prevents new ships from using Ord or Repair units
