A shiny war ship - fast and strong. Beware of minefields! The high warp signature makes the Lotus very likely to hit mines.

• You need an Arerran Capital, Nawole Garden or Xelovi Hive in the base to build this ship.
• It is subject to the special rules applying to ships of the Reunited Coalition of Systems.
• It starts with 75 med units to prevent damage when being built. Furthermore the last 12 med units on the ship will not be used to regrow Organic Armor.
• It has Gravity Sensors, which detect ships with Gravitonic Mine Dropper, Warp Chunneler, Gravitonic Accelerator, or Gravity Well Generator within 400 ly.

Reasons for this configuration:
You have a limited Ord Capacity. Therefore the Disrupter Cannon is a good weapon to mount (does not use Ord).
The Plasma Bolt Cannons are the best weapons for the Lotus any other Large Weapon is inferior on the Lotus. Also it does not matter if you can recharge all PBCs at maximum rate, often enough it might take a few ticks before you can fire the weapons again, due to the enemy ships being out of range. Also with all LW attack increase exotics, the PBCs cannot be shoot down by any pd of the enemy ships.

Reasons for this configuration:
Designed for fleet battles, this configuration is well supported by a group of at least 10 X. 240 Comb Class Escort (Hive Mind). Additional evasive boni exotic techs raises the already high evasive of the ship.

Reasons for this configuration:
The PBC eat ORD and the ship uses to end without ORD in large battles. Two or three Pulsed Phasor Cannon give some firepower to the ship in cases of run out of ORD. I have sow combats with lot of damaged ships killing the Lotus because of the ship is run out of ORD.
