Life Pod

Life Pods are used to transport Colonists, Crew, Troops and HG.
A Life Pod can hold up to 400kt. Each 100 personnel weigh 1kt.
You can transport personell of one race (either your own people or prisoners of one race).
To transport your Fighters and Assault Craft you have to use Assault Pods instead.

When transporting enemy personnel in your life pods these pods are often referred to as "prison pods". If you land a prison pod on a planet that you do not have a base, a prison base will form (prior to Host 197 the prisoners were set free in a newly created base of their own).

Using the Allow Commands button on the Races Screen gives you the ability to control another player's objects, but one thing that you are not allowed to do is to launch life pods. All other pods are acceptable.
