The top level Large Weapon is not the best weapon available. Still it is very fast and because of that strongly benefits from Large Weapon Exotic Techs.

- Gatling Phasors on ships that are owned by the Solar Federation get a 40 point accuracy bonus.
- Gatling Phasors can shoot at fighters Host 213b (The only other large weapon that can do this is the Sand Caster)
- The range vs fighter is 600 (like vs ship), and the damage is maximum 1 fighter per hit.
