Galactic Bank = Bank = central account

• Each player has a galactic bank account.
• The Megacredits (in this context called Galactic Credits (GC)) in this account are used to pay for tech upgrades, exotic techs, Exotic Hulls, and spying. The galactic bank has no other usage.
• Money which is deposited into the galactic bank cannot be withdrawn (except by the GalDraw device, owned by the COM).

[edit] Depositing Megacredits

Megacredits are sent to the galactic bank in several ways:

• Government centers can send 0 to 10,000 MC per turn to the bank.
• Part of the taxes are sent to the bank every turn.
• Some races have special ways to send money to the bank, such as GalBank devices, tech institutes, and king's palaces.
• The Scavengers have advantages in the amount of megacredits put into the galactic bank under certain conditions.

[edit] Order of Spending

• 1) Exotic Tech Spending is before after (Host 213s) the transfer from Government centers and after the income auto transfer from base Taxes.
• 2) Tech increases are after the transfer from Government centers and after the income auto transfer from base Taxes.
  Additional info: Tech upgrades occur after base production of structures and parts so that you cannot build higher tech parts and structures on the same turn that you are advancing to the tech to be able to build them. This is why Tech Level advancement is paid for after government center transfers, because of the position of building structures/parts.

[edit] Host order of events for Megacredits Transfer

• Taxes Collection and transfer of some to the Central Account.
• Exotic Tech maintenence happens now - BEFORE your central account is topped up from the government center transfers - so make sure you have a float of cash in your central account at the end of each turn, to cover ET maintenance at this point next turn. But ET maintenance happens after the central account gets a boost from normal taxation. Now: Galactic Bank processing is just before Exotic Tech maintenance / activation. (Host 213s)
• Normal techs are purchased after all money has been transferred to the Galactic Bank.
• The transfer from king's palaces and tech institutes to the bank is during the Base Jobs where all other base structures do their things, which is after the Movement Phases.
• The transfer from GalBank to the bank is during ship devices portion of the turn, which is after Base Jobs. Now: The transfer from GalBank/GalDraw occurs after tax collecting, but before Exotic Tech spending, ship transfer and movement Phase. (Host 213s)

Probably at the same time that Exotic Techs are paid for, but may be when spy attacks occur, which is at the end of the turn after movement.
