This device is found on the Robot Instrumentality and will inspire fear in any races nearby. This is because food is one of the most valuable resources and it is destroyed by this long range weapon of terror.

Causes all Chupanoids in bases within a radius of 10ly to have 300% happiness and all Chupanoids join the base.
Kills Amorphous Worms out to a range of 250ly.
Destroys food out to a range of 250ly. Food on bases and resupply pods are all in danger of being destroyed. Some of the food is converted to fuel and ord and transported back to the ship.
- Destroys max. 350 or 30% (whichever is lower) of the total food in bases
- Destroys max. 250 or 30% (whichever is lower) of the total food in ships.

[edit] Limitations

10% or more system damage will disable the device.
It will not work on bases with an active Base Shield when over 80 ly away from the base
- Solorian bases with 10 million+ colonists are not included in this.

As of Host 195, Eye of Madagon will not destroy your food on your own base, only the enemy's. It destroys the food in your own Pods (sometimes you get a note sometimes not), if the Food-Pod is still in orbit and reach at the end of the turn. Hint: Can be used to "resupply" your Instru-Strike-Fleet, if far away from "home".
