[edit] Overview
[edit] Space Combat
- Ship experience can cause a ship to become up to 70% harder to be hit by a large weapon or small weapon and can cause a ship to have up to 70% extra accuracy when firing on enemy ships.
- If a ship has over 100 experience points every 10 points gives the ship a 1% bonus (A ship with 110 experence points gets a 11% bonus and a ship with 700 experience points gets the full 70% bonus).
- An experienced crew is less likely to run from ship combat.
- An experienced crew can maneuver better in ship combat.
[edit] Boarding
During boarding actions, the ship experience has influence in two ways:
- If (non-HG) personnel (troops, crew, colonists) fight against each other, experience can increase the number of kills they will inflict.
- If (non-HG) personnel (troops, crew, colonists) of the same type fight against each other, the personnel from the ship with higher experience strikes first.
[edit] Minelaying / Sweeping
- Laying and mine sweeping of minefields works "at the same time". The order in which the actions are executed depend on the experience of the ships. The higher the experience, the later the order will be processed. Thus if the ship has a higher experience, it may sweep a minefield that has been laid the same turn by a ship with lower experience.
