Its primary purpose is to kill the enemy crew with above average Kill Power and inflicting 4 times the damage of other Small Weapons. A major disadvantage may be its short range (especially in one on one combats). The weapon has an extra kill bonus against races other than Solar Federation, Crystals, Robots, and Stormers.

  • This weapon has a chance to hit the target ships's soft spot and cause that ship to explode.
  • If an enemy ship's armor or hull (shields gone or no shield at all) is hit by a Disruptor, there is a chance that 10 crew, 30 troops and 100 colonists are killed.
