The Colonies of Kobol have become aware that they are a hunted species by more than one race. and require significant reconnaissance to keep the fleet safe, to that aim the demetrius Class scout was created to provide significant intel for possible jump points of the fleet they are attached to. armed with Dradis scanners at a range of 220 this vessels primary role of recon is well suited.
