[edit] Overview

The Deep Space Scout is a rather inexpensive ship for The Rebels, costing 540MC. Although it has no Pod Bay, which exludes it from transport missions, it has a good scan range (390ly) and can jump up to 900ly. This makes it a valuable scout. It is also one of the few Rebel ships that can be outfitted with Large Weapons > 40kt. So, it can also be used to raid unprotected enemy bases.
